Life Update

Life is pretty good to me right now. As some of you might now, it's my life-long dream to become a film maker. I produced some videos in the past but it only happened some months ago, when the real motivation kicked in - and then it all happened pretty fast..

I got the most amazing news about a week ago, when I found out that I've been selected to attend this year's Venice Film Festival in September as part of a special jury. I nearly dropped my precious phone when I read the e-mail. I'm beyond thrilled because it just seems to surreal to attend a film festival. I will tell you more about it soon..

Then, I went to a lecture at my university about film making in Austria and not even did I learn a lot, I also got the opportunity to work on a real film set in july. REAL FILM SET!! I will be working as set runner and hopefully gain lots of experiences.

Next to running around on a film set feeling all important and what not, I'm also filming a wedding, which has been a longtime dream of mine. I've always loved weddings and I was one of those girly girls who started planning her wedding at age 3. A lot of the plans have changed since then (only constant: Hayden Christensen as the preferred groom) but I still love the idea of capturing this special day on camera and this year, I got the opportunity to create an everlasting memory for a lovely couple from Carinthia.

I will also participate in a short film competition where I have to produce a short film on "sustainability". I will shoot it in august and I'm really looking forward to making a movie starring all my friends. One of them even offered to play a tree if necessary - I love the idea. It's so gonna happen.. :)

You see, my summer holidays are practically none existent but I'm going to love every second of it. I should also finish my bachelor thesis but compared to all the film stuff, I'm really not motivated for any scientific paper thingy.

Vancouver - The love of my life & ending to an amazing journey

After being in absolutely beautiful Banff, I didn't think that Vancouver could blow my mind even more. We were staying at a hotel downtown and after we arrived there, we went straight to the beach. It was sunset and the sea and the sky were coloured in red, orange and yellow. We saw the cruise ships on the horizon and were overwhelmed with the peaceful and romantic beauty of Vancouver. Due to many rainy days throughout the year, everything is green and alteady in bloom. We also visited the University of British Columbia and toured the most sustainable and green campus in North America. I want/need to study there!! We also did a harbour cruise and got to see the film shooting of the new "Robocop" movie. People are just so amazing in Vancouver - and Canada in general! One day I will live in Vancouver, for sure!

For now, my Canadian adventures are over. I'm sitting at the airport in Amsterdam being all sad that I had to leave my favourite country so soon. Canada, my love, you will definitely see more of me in the future!

Banff: OMFG!!

There are no words to describe the beauty of Banff. There's one main street with all kinds of shops, mostly souvenirs but also cool stuff like DC, billabong and roxy. Therefore, people are dressed very good. We went on a 20km hike to lake Minnewanka (the travel guide said 3,4 km but it turned out to be a bit longer). The journey was a bit exhausting but the view was so worth it! It was the most beautiful place I've ever seen! Since 20km weren't enough (watch out for sarcasm) we decided to walk to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel which is an old and expensive hotel that was built when the railway came to Banff. We casually walked in and checked out the view: BREATHTAKING!

The bus journey from Vancouver to Banff was amazing! We saw some beautiful landscape :)

Now we're Vancouver, which is the last stop of our journey to Canada. They're still shooting Godzilla, so I hope to see some celebs :)

Edmonton - It's (not) all about shopping!

Driving into Edmonton, I felt like being back in Calgary - only on a hill. People are strolling around Whyte Avenue and Jasper Avenue where they enjoy the spring atmosphere. Yesterday we got a tour around the city and checked out the Edmonton Art Gallery. Today we went to te University of Alberta, where we met some people from the Centre for Austrian Studies. Later, we went to West Edmonton Mall, which is so much more than just a shopping centre - it's an unbelievable experience. There's an amusement park, a beach, a pirate ship, an ice skating rink and about 800 shops inside. "This is mental" would be an understatement. Tomorrow we're off to Banff. I can't wait!

Howdy ranger!

Greetings from Calgary, the Texas of Canada! Whenever you turn around, chances are high that you'll see a cowboy. People are sincerely nice in Canada which makes meeting new people quite easy. As this is my first time on the American continent, I didn't quite know what to expect but I'm totally in love with the Canadian way of life. The Canadian sense of space on the other hand is definitely different to the compact cities in Europe. Calgary looks like a big suburban area whose centre (trying to write Canadian) consists of 20 huuuuuge skyscrapers. Everything around downtown is flat and filled with small houses. And EVERYONE owns at least one truck. So, seeing a Hummer has definitely lost its charm because it's so common. Plus, Calgary is a dusty city, therefore I'd recommand not to go out with black trousers if you don't want them to turn grey after a day of sightseeing. We also got the chance to participate in an Aboriginal awareness day. It's was so interesting to learn more about Canada's First Nations and their difficulties and traditions.

Today we are moving on to Edmonton, to which Calgarians lovingly (sarcasm) refer to as "Deadmonton" due to its high death rate. I'm excited if Edmonton will be more "Canadian" or will still have this US feeling.

this just in: INOCO IS BACK!

After years of absence, the awesome girls from inoco decided to put their lives back out there.. :) We will update you on the latest inoco adventures and let's just say: A lot has happened over the last couple of years. But first of all, i. would take the opportunity and tell n. that she missed her a lot ;) Now we can once again keep each other (and of course the whole world) up-to-date on all the important things.

First up: an update from the wonderful n. herself. Can't wait to read it!

i know we can make it...

... if we take it slow. Let's take it easy now, watch it go.

Some pretty poetic American men said those wise words once. Like knights in shining armour they came to let us be part of their vision. Or something like this .. well, i love the KILLERS and for me, their lyrics are kinda pretty amazing. Like this sentence. Great, just great. Nothing else to say.

Thinking about my future I have to believe in things like those.. I know we can make it..
At least I hope so.. my future will start soon, and then I have to know what I want to do with the next years from the rest of my life. Now I have mixed feelings for what my future might hold for me. On the one hand there is Stuttgart (not that exotic, but thinking about it I fear I will never find my way to Tristan if I already beg of Stuttgart). Gosh, would this Academy be great. I would be able to reach my goals, fullfil my destiny, and so on, and so on.. For my working-life future it would be just great. Price is acceptable, city is acceptable, train is acceptable. But I have to leave befind a lot.. maybe too much.

There is my family, which frankly is not the hardest thing to leave behind. Of course, I love them, cherish them but the hard thing to leave behind are my friends. Rita, Nora, Teresa and the whole rest of the lovingly friendships I made over the years. No more fucking-great weekends with the Elite ;), no more girl talk about.. well, the nearly one and only talkable guy, no more shopping trips linked with trying on shit we would never buy, no more depressive hours with my girl, no more analyzing of the guy(s) mentioned above. Could I leave this all behind?

Well, there it is.. like Rita and I already know. With 15 we got to choose, and today we think that our decision was wrong. But right now, I'm about to repeat this "mistake". Again, I might decide W over L. Will I also regret this? Or do I have to do it, for me.. Do I owe me this? Yeah, sure.. my life, my decision, my faults I have to deal with.. But this decision is kind of tough. Everyday (okay that's dramatic now, but often would be true) I want to change this decision I made. And now I have the chance.. but I make the same decision again?! Gosh, I don't get my life..

What do you need to do, if there is a chance to correct some great mistake you made in the past? What if you can reach this chance and it tells you, come on, girl.. now or never.. But was my decision back there really wrong or does my heart thinks so to give someone else the fault for my "loss"? Think about it, we will discuss it at our next meeting or so...

And there someone ever tells me again, that life is complicated age 14 .. ;)

remember time, when we were young..

Looking through old stuff I've found something very important to me: my very ownish canadian emo-socks - an artefact of n. and i.'s beginnings.

These socks stand for our beginning as important human beings for society. Starting to share our great and not so great moments with the world made us the original s. and b. I'd say :)

When I found these socks last week, I really had to think about our past together and - even without deep wanting - I had to think about our future... This is our last year of continiously seeing each other. Even if we sometimes wish that the other wouldn't phone at night (this is for both sides) I have to admit that imagine a life without her is impossible. Every weekend I know that I will see her again and that's a constant part of my life. Like drinking, eating, sleeping it's totally common for me to see her at least 24/5.

But what's next in our life? We will be apart that's clear but I really really need to try maintaining our sisterly connection.

Who if not her should go to brunch with me? Who should get caught by paparazzi if not we? Who should make private photoshoots at the nightly capital of Upper Austria? Who should date stars like JJ² or Diego?

It's just us .. everything else in uncommon and just not possible. So we need each other to reach the top and be the number one. Or at least, I need her.. :)

well .. after they looked good in "I'm a star - Get me out of here", the girls from the mansion got the chance to do some hollywood-things: drinking starbucks, shopping chanel and dating actors.

But things like these are never a secret. When they once leak the web, people can't stop talking about it. And so, we finally found de pics of I. and N. on their last years in hollywood:

round the world in three days

Gossip Girl is reporting:
Everything started in munich where t and i were seen catching a departing flight (pictured below).

They went over Ibiza, for some private reasons and over Palma where they were spotted at Starbucks. Next they went over to Spain in their private jet where they spent some days full of PDA. Soon we realized that n was MIA (what a pity) and that the backpacker-duo was making some top-secret photoshoots for the british GQ (with Megan Fox on the Cover) on the spanish coast.


And then they headed to Venezuela for strolling through the jungle for the latest season of "I'm a star, get me out of here" - now, where Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt went back to L.A. for causing some drama, they producers needed someone to fit in .. thank god i and t are doing everthing to get famous ...



But in the end all celebs want the same and so i and t were relaxing on the Côte d'Azur. Look foward to see the top secret pics from the GQ shoot.
